Capcom has revealed the first wave of Event Quests coming to Monster Hunter Wilds. It’s live now until March 18th and sees players hunting a Yian Kut-Ku in the Scarlet Forest to obtain materials for the Mimiphyta Alpha headgear.
On the same day, you can hunt a Quematrice and obtain Kunafa Cheese as a cooking ingredient. This quest is only available until March 11th, with a new quest to obtain Hard Armor Sphere and Advanced Armor Spheres from slaying a Tempered Chatacabra becoming available.
Week 3 brings three brand-new Event Quests. “Ballet in the Rain” focuses on hunting a Tempered Lala Barina, while “Sand-Scarred Soul” is about fighting a Doshaguma. Both are available from March 18th till March 25th and provide Attack and Defense Decorations as rewards. From March 18th until April 1st, “Like a Fire Hidden by Sand” will become available with a Rathian as the target.
Slaying it grants materials to craft the Expedition Headgear Alpha. Title Update 1 arrives in early April and brings more Event Quests alongside a new monster, Mizutsune, and the Gathering Hub. Players can also look forward to a new difficulty.
