Slinger
The Slinger is the de facto tool given to every Hunter. It can be used to grapple up to higher places, pull down rocks, launch projectiles like Scatternuts that serve as explosives, or distracting monsters. With improved stealth, it shouldn’t be too tough to distract a monster with the Slinger and then hide somewhere until you lose aggro.
