Capcom’s Monster Hunter World has received some new gameplay footage roughly 10 days before its worldwide launch. The footage takes place in Rotten Vale, an area defined by the corpses of monsters. Check it out below.

We also get to see two monsters – Rodabaan and Odogaron, the latter which is a predator despite being smaller than the former. How the two battle showcases the interactions possible within the ecosystem of Monster Hunter World. By leveraging those interactions – along with an item like the Challenge Mantle – it’s possible to lure a monster like Odogaron to another monster’s lair and have it do your dirty work.

Monster Hunter World will release on January 26th for Xbox One and PS4 with the PC version planned for an Autumn 2018 release. There will be a third beta for PS4 players on January 19th in case you haven’t had ample opportunity to try the game. What are your thoughts on the gameplay footage? Let us know below.
