After showcasing the return of Glavenus, Capcom also released a developer diary for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. It goes into way more detail about some of the other aspects of the previous trailer. Want to know what’s going on with the new Gathering Hub? Watch this.

Located in Seliana, the new Gathering Hub makes certain facilities like the Smithy, Botanical Research Center and so on closer together. That means you won’t be running around the Hub for what you need. There are also new Squad Cards which can be used to invite players to groups and sub-leaders will be available for recruiting and other team-related matters.

We also get a look at some of the new Palico gadgets like the Shiedspire Stooge, which acts as a decoy, and the Meowcano for shooting fireballs. It’s all pretty intriguing and combined with Iceborne’s other features, should offer a meaty expansion. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne releases on September 6th for Xbox One and PS4, with a PC release coming this Winter.
