In one single entry, it seems that the Monster Hunter series may very well have became Capcom’s biggest franchise. The success of Monster Hunter World and its expansion, Iceborne, has been nothing short of legendary. But alas, it doesn’t matter how legendary you are or aren’t, you weren’t immune to the global spread and outbreak of COVID-19. The game’s next major update, Update 4, was pushed back to an undetermined time due to the pandemic in April. Now, it seems the company is gearing up to release it soon.
Via the official Japanese Twitter, it is said that the development team will be announcing the new release date for Update 4 soon. They will announce it across official channels when the time comes.
The next up was to feature the return of one of the fiercest monsters of the franchise, Alatreon, the Blazing Black Dragon. You can read more about that through here. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. We’ll keep you updated when the announcement for Update 4 drops.
