Mortal Kombat 1 Day One Patch Brings Fixes for Invasions, Story Mode, and More

The fighting franchise's reboot's global launch is set for September 19, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Mortal Kombat 1 has been available in early access for a handful of days now, and its full global launch is also right around the corner. Ahead of its release, developer NetherRealm Studios has pushed a day one patch for the fighter that brings various fixes and tweaks to the game on all consoles.

On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the patch brings refinements to the UI, bug fixes, new accessibility options, and additional finishing moves, while various improvements have also been made across all of its modes, from rebelanced boss fights and season one content in Invasions to 4K resolution cutscenes and tweaks to the final boss in the story mode.

On the Nintendo Switch, meanwhile, the patch is much more substantial, and enables some of the game’s most key content offerings, including online play, the full story mode, Towers and Tournament modes, tutorials, and much more. You can check out the full patch notes below.
