The newest season for Mortal Kombat 1’s Invasions mode is now available. Season of the Blood Mon features Nitara from a timeline where Vaeternus reigns supreme. Upon learning that her species failed in other timelines, she rallies her forces for an invasion.
Available until December 11th, Season 2 offers a new Mesa, Living Forest, to explore with new puzzles, chests and skins for Raiden, Kitana, Geras and Sindel. New Palettes for Tanya, Geras, Havik, Reiko and Shang Tsung are also available. The seasonal journey culminates in a boss fight against Blood Thirsty Nitara. The Thanksgiving Fatality is also live, and those who purchased the Halloween Fatality can get it for free along with the upcoming Winter Fatality.
Mortal Kombat 1 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Check out our review here. It’s sold almost three million units since launch, and the first DLC character, Omni-Man from Invincible, is available for Premium Edition owners and on November 16th for everyone else.
