With Khaos Reigns coming soon to Mortal Kombat 1, Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have released a launch trailer for the paid expansion. It showcases Titan Havik’s first meeting with Fire God Liu Kang and the residents of the rebooted Earthrealm.

Aside from spreading chaos, Titan Havik’s agenda is unknown. However, he has several powerful warriors by his side, including Sektor, Cyrax, and Noob Saibot (the former Bi-Han of the Lin Kuei). All three are playable at launch as part of Kombat Pack 2 and feature their own Fatalities, Brutalities, and Animalities.

The latter is part of a free update for all players and includes such transformations as two alligators bisecting an opponent and a phoenix burning foes to a crisp with its embrace. Three other DLC Kombatants – Ghostface from Scream, the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and Conan the Barbarian – will arrive later. We even get to see some of Ghostface’s Fatality near the end.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns launches on September 24th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. You can pick up a bundle that includes Kombat Pack 1 or the Khaos Reigns Collection, which also features the base game and 1250 Dragon Krystals.
