During the ongoing open beta for platform fighter MultiVersus, Bugs Bunny has proven to be particularly popular thanks to his general power. Game director Tony Huynh has announced that the character will be seeing a nerf after the upcoming tournament at Evo 2022.

This means that we can expect a nerf to Bugs Bunny some time after August 7, which will be the final day for Evo 2022. Huynh has mentioned that, despite the nerfs, Bugs Bunny will still be a fun character to play.

MultiVersus has proven to be quite popular, boasting over 144,000 concurrent players on the launch of its open beta. This has made MultiVersus the most successful launch for a WB Games release yet.

Before MultiVersus, the crown for most successful launch was worn by LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which in turn boasted a concurrent player count of 82,000 on launch.

The MultiVersus open beta is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
