MultiVersus

The first season of free-to-play platform fighter MultiVersus has been delayed, but it has a significant amount of content coming. In a new tweet, Player First Games confirmed that the season would add Ranked Battle, Arcade Mode, new cosmetics and the addition of Rick and Morty.

Morty will be playable at launch while Rick arrives later in Season 1. The new cosmetics include three icons – a Batman symbol, Direwolf, and Rick and Morty – and a new banner. There are also two new variant costumes coming for LeBron James and Bugs Bunny, turning them into Robin and a Valkyrie respectively.

The Season 1 Battle Pass will cost 950 Gleamium, which is about $10 and offers 50 tiers of content to unlock. Players can also expect balance changes with Bugs Bunny confirmed to be receiving some significant nerfs to halt his reign of terror.

MultiVersus is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details on the start date for Season 1 as soon as it’s announced.
