MultiVersus enjoyed quite the successful launch last month, and in the short time that’s passed since then, developer Player First Games and publisher WB Games have made it abundantly clear that there’s still plenty left to look forward to for players. The fighter’s first season may have been pushed back, meaning plenty of new upcoming content has been delayed to an as-yet-undetermined date- but whenever season 1 does arrive, there’s a chance that it’ll bring some interesting new features.

For instance, it seems like MultiVersus could, in the future, allow a player to share their battle pass with another player, contributing to its completion together. The same was claimed recently by @AisulMV on Twitter, with the user sharing what seem like in-game images explaining how the feature would work. According to the user, the feature was at one point in development for the game, and could be introduced when season 1 launches.

Of course, there’s no word yet on exactly how far away season 1 is, so it remains to be seen how long we’ll have to wait to get official details. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer though.

MultiVersus is available in open beta on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
