NBA 2K27’s official gameplay trailer has finally followed that announcement and the reveal of its cover athletes from last week.
It’s certainly living up to the developer’s claim that it doesn’t come with an off switch, with those excellent visuals bringing the look and vibe of the court to life. Meanwhile, some very nimble maneuvers are shown off in the midst of an intense clash between equally matched teams. We would have liked a bit of information on what new stuff to look forward to, although we’re guessing that’s being saved for a little later down the line.
Nevertheless, it’s definitely worth watching, not just because it’s quite fun, but also because of how good the presentation seems to be shaping up. In case you don’t recall, that was a facet of last year’s experience that drew a lot of praise in our review. The trailer below is proof that this one’s consistent on that front at least.
This one’s only a month away from its early access launch on August 28th for those who pre-order the Deluxe or Ultra Edition, and close enough to its September 4 release. It’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
