Xbox will be returning to Gamescom from August 26th to 30th, and, as in previous years, it will have tons of games playable at its booth. Among the 25 titles featured are Stranger Than Heaven, Alien: Isolation 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Minecraft Dungeons 2, Metro 2039, etc.
For Modern Warfare 4, players can go hands-on with multiplayer, coinciding with the beta’s launch next month. Fable won’t be playable, but Playground Games will host a live presentation showcasing combat. As for Gears of War: E-Day, this will be the first time that anyone can go play the campaign ahead of launch.
Other notable titles include Alien Deathstorm, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Turok Origins, and Valor Mortis. Recently released titles like Halo: Campaign Evolved are also present, but you can try out the upcoming Drift Attack mode in Forza Horizon 6 and nab get a “sneak peek” at upcoming collaborations.
Live broadcasts have also been confirmed for 7 AM PST on August 26th and 27th with “interviews, special guests, gameplay reveals, new trailers, and more.” Xbox has yet to outline exactly what to expect, so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
Otherwise, you can look forward to Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25th, which features titles like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past and Silent Hill: Townfall.
