Ghost Games has returned and announced Need for Speed, a “full reboot” of the franchise which has an open world set in the night, deep customization and a focus on urban racing. Check out the first teaser trailer which has apparently been captured in-game.

Executive Producer at Ghost Games Marcus Nilsson stated that, “Need for Speed is one of the most iconic names in gaming, and we’re returning it to greatness in this reboot. Pulling on our 20 years of history, and then taking a year out from releasing a game, we are making the game we’ve always wanted to. We’re listening to the fans and delivering an experience that will capture their imagination and unleash their passion for cars and speed.”

Need for Speed will be powered by Speedhunters, EA’s car culture community and seeks to keep pace with urban car trends and realism. It will release in Autumn 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
