Need for Speed Rivals (1)
Executive producer Marcus Nilsson took the stage for EA’s press conference to talk about Need for Speed Rivals and just how the game’s new “All-drive” feature seeks to combine co-op, multiplayer and single-player into seamless experience. Or at least destroy the distinction between all of the above as it focuses on online competition.

This is showcased by a race starting off in single-player and has other players joining in to turn it into a multiplayer race. The backdrop is a bright shiny tarmac with tons of rain suddenly entering the scene, making things all the more prettier.

As racers become indisposed, the police show up, bringing a pursuit chopper with them. Because it wouldn’t be NFS without the excess. Also, Breaking Bad’s Jess took the stage to announce the Need for Speed movie as well. Which is exactly what an NFS movie should be, “excess” being the key word again.
