Need for Speed Unbound

As promised, Criterion Games has released a new gameplay video for Need for Speed Unbound. It starts by showcasing chases with the cops, based on the amount of Heat generated. Check it out below.

Based on the “Risk vs Reward” concept, players can earn more cash by avoiding the cops (which is where the new escape mechanics come into play). Be careful, as the cops have new foreign vehicles and pursuit helicopters to chase you down. They may even suddenly appear in the middle of events to cause havoc.

The main goal of Unbound is to enter The Grand but to get in, you need to compete in the Weekly Qualifiers. Compete in events over four weeks (in-game, thankfully), make side bets with Rival Racers, and earn enough money to upgrade your vehicle.

Need for Speed Unbound is out on December 2nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
