NEO The World Ends With You

Square Enix’s demo for NEO: The World Ends With You is now live for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, allowing players to venture into the Underground and partake in the Reapers’ Game. Those interested in purchasing the full release will also be able to carry over their progress from the demo.

As a sequel to the first game, which released in 2007 for the Nintendo DS, NEO: The World Ends With You focuses on Rindo and his gang, the Wicked Twisters. The team must compete in a week-long game of survival with each player having unique abilities like changing the past or diving into people’s minds. Combat breaks away from the previous title significantly by being fully 3D.

However, you still have various Pins which can confer different abilities and combinations. The Noise also make a return along with the different Reapers, though prior antagonist Sho Minamimoto works alongside the player this time around. NEO: The World Ends With You is out on July 27th for Nintendo Switch and PS4 while the PC version arrives later this year on the Epic Games Store.
