While the arrival of Horizon: Zero Dawn is still ways away, Guerrilla Games has been releasing a couple of new videos in the last one month or so in order to give gamers a look at what they are going to be seeing when it launches next year.

In the video, the development team stated that they didn’t have a template the team could build off the world on so they had to go out of their way to come up with all the little details that make up this very strange, post-apocalyptic world.

“Aside from how the player interacts with the world of Horizon Zero Dawn, it’s the natural feel of the machine’s ecology which really impressed. Herds of Grazers roamed, following their own instincts; startle them, and they’ll bolt or stampede, fleeing from danger – just as you’d expect to see on a nature documentary. The overall feel was one of a living, breathing world that has evolved in harmony with the machines – with humans being only a distant memory,” SCEE’s Online Content Producer, Rhys Sutheran stated on the PlayStation Blog.

The game launches in February 2017 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
