Platinum Games debuted its next big title, a new Nier game at Square Enix’s E3 press event (sorry Bayonetta 3 fans), and while the trailer was only meant to show off the game’s artwork, it still looks pretty compelling. More information will be revealed during Fall 2015 and the new Nier will be heading to PS4.

Nier is a fairly old game which released in 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PS3, offering action adventure gameplay in an RPG-like setting. The new Nier title will be directed by Atsushi Inaba and the goal is to bring fresh life to the franchise. The focus on action appears to be retained though the central character seems to be a girl rather than the middle-aged Nier from the first game.

What are your thoughts on the new Nier game though there wasn’t much of anything to really see? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
