New Portal 2 Footage

Posted By | On 23rd, Jun. 2010

Two new E3 videos for Portal 2 were recently released, which delved upon the two most important aspects of the game, the story and the gameplay.

The first video shows the player standing in front of a personality sphere, who is trying to help us escape. Funnily, the good-for-nothing personality sphere ends up waking Glados from her deep sleep.

The second video makes the gameplay its centrepiece, with the developers showing off many impressive aspects of the game. Many weapons were shown off- tractor beams, which we can send through portals to solve several puzzles. The Aerial Faith Plate, which we can use as a huge slingshot, to fling ourselves and objects across the world. The Thermal Discouragement Beam, which was kind of a typical gun, used to shoot at enemies and solve several puzzles.

Valve is expected to be released by 2011 on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
