Developers Slightly Mad Studios have released a new video their upcoming racing sim Project CARS, which is due out this year. There’s some good footage to be found in  there for the racing fanatics, but I guess, most of all, those who have been looking forward to the game will be just glad that the project is still on track.

Project CARS has been in development since 2011, and was originally due out in November of 2013, on the systems it is releasing for now as well as the Xbox 360 and the PS3. However, the release was delayed, and the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions were scrapped. The game is now due for the PC, SteamOS, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U.

Slightly Mad Studios have also announced that they were working on a new project, a a free-to-play racer, World of Street. There is, of course, still no confirmation of an official release date by the devs, but we do know that the game is coming out this year.

Stay tuned for more updates.
