Sony’s first party has come a long, long way this generation, with multiple new IP hits, fantastic revivals of older series, and just an unbroken streak of quality across multiple years. And now, Sony is rightly highlighting that in a brand new video,which shows off some of the best games you can play “only on PlayStation”.
The video highlights Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War, Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part 2, and Days Gone. That’s three upcoming games, and three that are out, as well as three sequels and three brand new IP. And it doesn’t even highlight the full range of amazing games on the console—Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Bloodborne, The Last Guardian, and Death Stranding, for example, are all PlayStation exclusive games, current or upcoming, that could have been in this trailer and aren’t. Sony truly has an embarrassment of riches here—and that is probably one of the reasons that Microsoft has felt the need to expand its own first party portfolio.
