Tales from the Borderlands sequel

Gearbox Software announced back in April that a new Tales from the Borderlands was in development though there have been no new details since. However, a reveal is coming this Summer, and that could be coming sooner than later.

Gematsu recently discovered two ratings for New Tales from the Borderlands on South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee site. The first is for the game itself while the second is for a Deluxe Edition. This seems to indicate that a proper reveal is coming but that we could get a release date soon.

The name certainly fits the overall narrative, which features a new cast and a brand new story. Perhaps the biggest departure from the previous game, which Telltale Games worked on, is Gearbox being the sole developer. New Tales from the Borderlands is scheduled to release this year and though the ratings only indicate “PC,” you can expect it to arrive on consoles as well. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
