Following up on the short trailer of Fran, Gearbox Software’s New Tales from the Borderlands shines the spotlight on Anuradha Dahr or Anu. As a scientist, she’s pretty brilliant and has Tech Glasses that can be very useful. Despite her idealistic nature, Anu is prone to nervousness and is generally awkward around people.

As the trailer showcases, she’s more inclined to take the route of less murdering. How that works out remains to be seen when she, her brother Octavio, and Fran must deal with corporations, a vault monster, and assassins. That’s not even including the local misfits and bandits of Pandora.

New Tales from the Borderlands is out on October 21st for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. In a recent interview with GamingBolt, producer Frédéric Scheubel revealed that it would have improved movement and facial animations thanks to performance capture, a first for the franchise.
