Next Monster Hunter

Capcom didn’t have many big announcements in its Online Program for Tokyo Game Show 2023. However, while presenting a video celebrating Monster Hunter’s 20th anniversary, it showcased a line up of Hunters across each title. In the end, after Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s armor set, another suddenly appeared.

Naturally, the publisher didn’t outright confirm that this is from the next Monster Hunter, and the armor set is generic enough to quell suspicions of being from a new monster. Nevertheless, when you consider all of the armor sets from previous titles, there’s little else this could be than the tease of a new title.

When it will be revealed remains to be seen, so stay tuned. Monster Hunter Rise is the latest mainline title in the series, with its expansion, Sunbreak, receiving its final update in Primordial Malzeno. It’s available for Nintendo Switch and PC and was recently released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
