PlatinumGames’ epic action title NieR: Automata has set a new milestone. According to Square Enix on Twitter, worldwide shipments and digital sales have crossed four million units for the title. In December 2018, it had hit 3.5 million units shipped worldwide and digital sales.

A new trailer for the Game of the YoRHa Edition has also been released, which you can check out below. It includes the base game, the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC (which includes some tough and bizarre arena fights), cosmetics for the three protagonists, and Pod skins. You also get a Machine Mask accessory.

NieR: Automata is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It’s garnered a good amount of critical acclaim – you can check out GamingBolt’s review here to learn more about it. Though a sequel hasn’t been announced, director Yoko Taro is working on a series of raids for Final Fantasy 14: Shadowbringers based on NieR: Automata. Stay tuned for more details on the same when Shadowbringers releases in July.
