Toylogic has a new trailer for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… available, showcasing a number of things from the remaster. It showcases more Emil, some large bosses and several cutscenes set to “Song of the Ancients”. Some of the cutscenes may appear familiar, like those for Kaine’s infamous Shadowlord speech. NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is based on the 2010 PS3 classic and serves as the predecessor to NieR: Automata. It sees a young boy seeking a cure for the Black Scrawl in order to save Yonah, his sister. Along the way, players will encounter Shades and learn more about humanity’s attempts to survive the Scrawl.
Releasing on April 23rd, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. For more extensive gameplay, check out this video of the Barren Temple area and boss. New weapons will be added for free as post-launch DLC and have their own weapon stories. Stay tuned for more gameplay and details in the coming weeks.
