Nintendo Direct

The next Nintendo Direct will be taking place on September 13th at 3 PM PDT/6 PM EDT. This follows a recent rumour that the presentation would take place tomorrow. Originally, the Direct was to take place on September 6th, but was delayed in the wake of an earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan.

The presentation will focus on upcoming titles for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch. A number of Switch-related announcements were made in the past few days, such as Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered being announced for the platform (along with PS4). Final Fantasy 15: Pocket Edition HD was also announced for the Switch, though it will be releasing later than the PS4 and Xbox One versions (which are both currently available).

With Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! being the major upcoming release for Nintendo Switch, we could see it making an appearance. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is also a safe bet, if not in terms of character reveals then with new gameplay footage at the very least.
