Nintendo Switch Is Going To Get Continued Support From Bethesda, Take Two, Ubisoft, Activision, and EA, Nintendo Says

Can we have GTA5 on Switch now?

The Nintendo Switch’s stunning success so far has come on the back of Nintendo’s superlative lineup of first party games for the system, and a great selection of indie games. By and large, third parties have completely missed the boat on the system, with the exception of Square Enix and Bethesda.

However, going forward, it seems like they will be unable to ignore the Switch, owing to its monstrous sales- speaking in a press release today, Nintendo boasted of “continued third party support” for the Switch from some of the biggest publishers, specifically naming EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Capcom, SEGA, Take 2 and Bethesda (and also emphasizing the strong selection of indie games the system will continue to get).

This is very interesting, because while we knew that Bethesda, for instance, plans to keep supporting the Switch going forward, the status of the other companies was in the air. I imagine EA will bring its other EA Sports games to the Switch this year, while Activision will look at Call of Duty? As for Take Two- can we finally get GTA5 on the Switch, please?

That Nintendo Direct really can’t come soon enough.
