Minecraft: Story Mode – Season 1 will be releasing on Nintendo Switch in the coming months, marking the first time Telltale Games has released a product for the platform. There could be more coming though according to Telltale head of communications Job Stauffer.

Stauffer noted to GameSpot that, “We haven’t quite announced [Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 for Switch] but we certainly hope to continue things on that platform; we’re big fans.”

He also believes that the Switch could be a great place for the company’s titles. “It wouldn’t be unheard if more of our series also made it to Switch; we love the platform. It’s kind of perfect for what we do. All of our games are the same on mobile as they are on consoles. And for a mobile console [like the Switch] it’s pretty awesome.”

Speaking of Minecraft: Story Mode, Season 2 launches on July 11th with its first episode “Hero in Residence“. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments.
