The Game Awards are nearly upon us, which means that we’ll be seeing a fair share of award givings and world premieres. The premieres are interesting because games The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mass Effect Andromeda and Prey are confirmed to be receiving gameplay trailers.

However, there will be more happening at the show. As per host Geoff Keighley on Twitter, Nintendo will also be on hand and they’re working hard. Could it be that we see more Switch gameplay? Perhaps an official pricing announcement? It’s certainly not impossible even though the company has an event scheduled for January 2017 to reveal more information.

Keighley also noted that there would be some great 4K content on offer. “And let me say, some of the 4K content we are showing you tomorrow looks stunning. Some surprises.”

This would lead us to believe that we’re going to see some premieres happening in 4K. Horizon: Zero Dawn comes to mind, especially since it’s one of Sony’s bigger releases for 2017 but it’s possible this surprise is saved for PSX.

What do you hope to see at The Game Awards? Let us know in the comments.
