Team Ninja has announced that Nioh 2 will be releasing on March 13th 2020 for PS4. Check out the new trailer below which showcases a variety of enemies and the Yokai powers at one’s disposal. Like turning into the annoying Tengu from the first game and striking foes.

Along with the trailer, Koei Tecmo had previously confirmed that the sequel will have an open beta on November 1st. It will be available till November 10th. The beta will see players battling a new Yokai and defeating it will yield a Demon’s Proof. You’ll travel to the Sunomata Castle, which is a new area.

You can probably expect co-op to also be available for the beta. Team Ninja previously revealed that three player multiplayer will be available. So if there’s any concern about how a boss fight might go down (especially bosses like the Kasha running amok), backup will be available. Stay tuned for more details on Nioh 2 in the coming days.
