Team Ninja’s Nioh has finally received its new beta. You can head to the European PlayStation Store to try it out currently but expect it to release for the United States by the end of today.

The beta weighs a little more than 6 GB in total and can only be played online. Like the previous alpha demo, players can complete the beta to earn DLC for when the full game launches. The conditions this time are also fairly relaxed but given the difficulty, it might be tough just finishing the beta.

Team Ninja had also discussed implementing feedback from the alpha to improve on the final game and you’ll be able to see those improvements in the beta. The lock-on system is now much more reminiscent of Dark Souls and weapon durability has been removed entirely.

Nioh is still scheduled to release for PS4 later this year though a concrete launch date is yet to be announced.
