DOOM

This year at E3, Bethesda and id Software finally took the wraps off of DOOM, the reboot of the classic and pioneering FPS franchise, to general acclaim and enthusiasm; however, unlike all other games revealed at E3, Bethesda seem to have gone on radio silence since, refusing to communicate about the game.

If you were curious about when you would hear from the game next, well, it turns out you will have to wait till QuakeCon this year. Speaking on Twitter, id General Manager Garrett Young refused to answer any questions about DOOM from the fans, deferring them to the next big info dump for DOOM, that comes at QuakeCon.

Ordinarily, this would be very frustrating, but QuakeCon is in just a few weeks; it will be held later this month, from July 23-26, so it’s not like you have to wait too long. Still, I guess it is a little annoying for fans.
