Octopath Traveler 2 has been out for over a week now, and the consensus from critics and audiences alike seems to be a resoundingly positive one. The turn-based JRPG has drawn widespread praise since its release, and to highlight some of that praise, publisher Square Enix has released an accolades trailer. Check it out below.

Octopath Traveler 2 promises a number of significant improvements over its predecessors. Set in a new world and starring a completely new cast of characters, it sees much greater interactions between the characters and their stories than its predecessor did, on top of new gameplay mechanics like Path Actions and a day and night cycle. Of course, this is on top of many of the first game’s greatest strengths being retained, including the excellent combat system and the gorgeous HD-2D visual aesthetic.

Our own review of the game will be going live in the coming days, so stay tuned for that.

Octopath Traveler 2 is available on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
