Octopath Traveler Box Art Revealed, Is Utterly Gorgeous

It looks absolutely gorgeous!

Project Octopath Traveler

One of the most anticipated Nintendo Switch games of the year is the exclusive JRPG Octopath Traveler, a new turn based Japanese RPG by Square Enix, that channels the heyday of classic 16- and 32-bit JRPGs. Octopath Traveler offers multiple playable characters, each offering unique stories, a new, exciting turn based battle system, jobs and unique abilities, and a surprisingly mature story, all wrapped up in extremely high production values and a gorgeous art style.

With the game’s July 13 release date approaching, Nintendo today shared the box art for the game- and it is absolutely gorgeous, putting the eight eponymous characters centerstage (with Primrose, whose story in the demo won the game so much attention from people, being the literal center of attention). You can check it out for yourself below.

Octopath Traveler will be launching exclusively on the Nintendo Switch come July 13. If you want to check out the game before it launches, you can download a (pretty meaty) demo for it off of the Nintendo eShop.
