Game Overview:
Octopath Traveler is a turn-based JRPG developed by Square Enix and Acquire.
It sports a sprite based look blended with HD visuals, and tells eight different stories of eight individual characters as they journey across the land of Osterra.
Square Enix has released both RPGs for their respective platforms out of nowhere, as well as a bundle containing both.
The 2018 RPG still remains unavailable on PlayStation consoles, but as per a recent rating in Taiwan, that could change soon.
The RPG was delisted from the store in early March, following which Square Enix reassured that the game's removal from the store was temporary.
"We are working on this and will update when the game is available to purchase again," the company says.
The acclaimed HD-2D RPG has hit another major sales milestone. A sequel was also recently announced for Switch, PlayStation, and PC.
"The development team will work hard so that we can set off on a new adventure with you all," writes Square Enix.
The HD-2D title finally arrives on Xbox.
