Octopath Traveler

Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler has hit a new milestone since launching in 2018 for Nintendo Switch, selling two million copies. To celebrate, Nintendo of Europe confirmed that the RPG is 50 percent off on the eShop until April 2nd. Not a bad deal, especially considering how well the art-style and combat hold up.

Octopath Traveler is a game with eight different protagonists. You choose one to start with and can then recruit the other characters to help you, fulfilling their own quests along the way. The mix of 3D environments with 2D sprites and strong combat, not to mention each protagonist having a different special ability, makes the experience stand out.
