Octopath Traveler

After prematurely revealing the news last week, Square Enix has officially confirmed that Octopath Traveler is coming to PC via Steam. It’s also released an official trailer for the same, which you can see below. Octopath Traveler will release on June 7th worldwide for PC.

The trailer itself doesn’t contain any information on PC-specific features, but it’s likely that we’ll hear more about this in the coming weeks. Developed by Square Enix and Acquire, the RPG pays homage to old-school titles with its aesthetic and combat system. Players can choose from eight different travelers, each with their own story, role, and unique abilities.

Each traveler has their own adventure and quest to fulfill in the world of Orsterra. With eight regions to explore, a turn-based combat system emphasizing powered up attacks and guard breaks, and a gorgeous art-style, Octopath Traveler should be worth experiencing on PC. Check out GamingBolt’s official review of the Nintendo Switch version in the meantime.
