Octopath Traveler

In a somewhat anticipated announcement, Square Enix confirmed during Google’s recent Stadia Connect that Octopath Traveler would be available on Stadia. Which is to say it’s available now. Check out the trailer below for a better idea of what the game offers.

First released in July 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, Octopath Traveler takes place in the world of Orsterra with eight different characters to choose form. Each has their own backstory and Path Actions, which allow for different results in the world, so you can either compose a party of desired comrades or go it alone. The RPG has received acclaim for its retro-style visuals and combat – check out our review for more details.

Even if you don’t pick it up on Switch or Google Stadia, Octopath Traveler is also available for PC. The development team is currently working on Bravely Default 2 for the Nintendo Switch which should release later this year. You can check out gameplay for the same here.
