Recently, Oddworld Inhabitants announced that Oddworld: Soulstorm would be receiving an Enhanced Edition. Along with PS4, PS5 and PC, it will also release for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One platforms later this year. Current owners needn’t worry about upgrading though – the Enhanced Edition will be a free update.

As per the game’s official Twitter, “Hey Inhabitants! Enhanced Edition WILL be a FREE update for all of our PlayStation and PC players. Thanks for supporting us from the start!” The Enhanced Edition is confirmed to feature the base game and all updates along with some new content along with improved gameplay. What this all entails remains to be seen.

Those looking to pick the game up on Xbox can purchase a Day One Edition which includes an embossed metal case. There’s also a Collector’s Edition with a 9 inch tall figurine of Abe, the metal case, Abe’s hand tattoo, tribal stickers, a premium 160 page artbook and a mining company keychain.
