OlliOlli: Switch Stance Launches on Switch Next Month, Includes Both OlliOlli Games

Some tight and mechanically rewarding skateboarding action is headed to the Switch next month.

OlliOlli and OlliOlli 2, from Roll7, are modern day skateboarding game classics. They’re tightly designed, mechanically rewarding, and feature fantastic level design. They bring to life a modern day interpretation of the classic Tony Hawk games, albeit in 2D, and also feature some tight platforming style action.

And now, both games are coming to the Switch, which is at this point a haven for indie games and indie game developers. Roll7 have announced OlliOlli: Switch Stance, which will be bringing OlliOlli and OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood to the Switch. And you won’t have to wait long for the games to launch on the hybrid either—it’s out next month.

OlliOlli games are bound to find a great home on the Switch—as already mentioned, the platform is extremely profitable for indie game developers, and the retro aesthetic paired with the tight platforming style mechanical finesse is bound to appeal to the Nintendo audience. OlliOlli and its sequel are currently out on PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, and PC; the original game is also available on Wii U.
