Origin’s Future and Upcoming Features Detailed in New Video

Achievement sharing, broadcasting, exclusive DLC and F2P gaming part of upcoming features.

Electronic Arts’ digital software platform Origin first released alongside the vaunted Mass Effect 3 – and if that wasn’t a bigger sign of forcing people to use it, nothing is. However, like Steam’s rocky start, Origin seems to be growing into it’s own, boasting 50+ partners and 500+ games.

The future of Origin looks even brighter, with future support for Android, Mac, iOS and SmartTVs on the cards. Broadcasting, achievement sharing, dashboard, exclusive DLC and of course, the all-important free to play gaming are also coming up – let’s see how EA handles them.
