Almost a month after it leaked, the official version of Kiriko’s animated short for Overwatch 2 is now available. As the mysterious “protector of Kanezaka,” Kiriko can be vengeful against her enemies (like the Hashimoto clan). However, she’s also shown to be quite caring and devoted. Check out the short below.
Kiriko is one of three new heroes currently available in Overwatch 2. As a Support, she can throw kunai, which deal immense headshot damage. In her other hand are healing ofuda that provides burst heals to allies. She can also deploy protection suzu for temporary invulnerability and debuff cleansing and teleport to allies through walls.
If that weren’t enough, her Ultimate “Kitsune Rush” can buff allies’ attack speed/fire rate, reload speed, and movement speed. Unlike Junker Queen and Sojourn, new players must unlock her by grinding to Tier 55 on the Battle Pass or purchasing the Premium Battle Pass for $10. Overwatch 1 owners instantly receive access via the Founder’s Pack, which should be claimed before Season 3.
