Season 2 of Overwatch 2 started last week, and in addition to a new hero, Ramattra, and the Shambali Monastery map, it also brought a slew of balance changes. Many players weren’t too impressed with some changes, especially Sojourn. It also didn’t help that some dominant heroes like Roadhog had been untouched.
That’s going to change this week. Game director Aaron Keller tweeted, “The team is looking at potential changes to Sojourn, Doomfist, Ramattra, Roadhog and Tracer with the planned balance changes coming later this week.” It’s not clear which ones will receive buffs or nerfs. At the very least, Ramattra – a decent but not amazing Tank – could receive some adjustments to increase his viability.
Doomfist received several buffs recently, rocketing (no pun intended) up the Tank tier lists. So he may receive some toning down. It’s unknown what could happen to Tracer, especially since her damage fall-off bug was fixed and overall damage increased to compensate. Time will tell, so stay tuned for more details.
Overwatch 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Check out other content coming in Season 2 here.
