Overwatch League

With the Overwatch League starting on January 10th at 4 AM PST, Blizzard Entertainment has updated Overwatch to include skins for each of the 12 teams that will be taking part. Download the latest update today and you’ll be able to purchase the first skin using free League Tokens.

Each subsequent skin – which amounts to 312 overall since there are 12 teams and 26 heroes – will cost $5 each. It may seem hefty (especially with no way to earn them in-game currently) but players can directly purchase these skins with their money. All proceeds go towards supporting the League so it’s more or less like your average sporting league.

With one skin costing 100 League Tokens, you can purchase bundles containing several League Tokens for one price. The highest offer is 2,600 Tokens for €99.99 which should net you an entire team’s skins. The first match that will be taking place is the San Francisco Shock vs. Los Angeles Valiant so stay tuned for more details as Overwatch League’s first season begins.
