Overwatch Uprising Event Extended Till May 2nd, 5 PM PDT

Event back after sudden removal.

Posted By | On 02nd, May. 2017

Blizzard’s Overwatch saw the end of its Uprising event today and in a much more abrupt fashion then players were expecting. We honestly expected it to wrap when maintenance rolled out later today.

Thankfully, Uprising is back and players can farm for loot boxes in Arcade (one gained for every three wins) accordingly. These loot boxes will still contain cosmetics like skins, sprays, voice lines and whatnot related to the Uprising event.

However, it’s worth noting that the event will only be live till 5 PM PDT, May 2nd. You can still buy loot boxes during this time so make the best use of it.

Sadly, the King’s Row Uprising PvE brawl still seems to be down. Stay tuned for a small patch or update that will reactivate it, thus allowing you to enjoy arguably the best PvE-based event that Overwatch has received thus far. Meanwhile, you can let us know what you think of Uprising in the comments.
