Overwatch’s Havana Coming Soon As New Escort Map

Unfortunately, there's no stormy weather to accompany it.

Overwatch Havana

Blizzard Entertainment’s new Archives event for Overwatch, Storm Rising, may be somewhat of a bust. However, like with Retribution, it will bring a new map to PvP in the near future. Check out the latest trailer of Havana as an Escort map – not an Assault map, as the description mistakenly says.

Starting through the streets, players make their way to the old Don Rumbotico warehouse. From there, the payload will continue to be escorted to the old Havana Sea Fort. A brief glimpse of a helicopter, presumably the same one used by Maximilien in Storm Rising, is also showcased. Don’t expect much though – it’s likely just the enemy team’s spawn.

As is tradition, Havana will come to Overwatch’s Public Test Realm server first. After a few weeks of bug testing, it should make its way to all platforms. If the traditional release cycle of maps is anything to go by, expect to see Havana available on live servers in May (which is also when the game’s Anniversary Event is slated).
