Blizzard has taken the wraps off of its newest hero heading to Overwatch – and it’s Ana Amari, mother of Fareeha Amari aka Pharah. As was rumoured before her reveal, Ana is a support sniper who can assist her teammates.

Ana’s main weapon is the Biotic Rifle which can either heal allies from long-range or deal damage over time to enemies. Her Biotic Grenade allows her to both heal allies and hurt enemies caught in the area, with affected allies receiving a boost to all available healing and halting healing on enemies for a few seconds. Then there’s the Sleep Dart which can knock enemies out. Ana’s ultimate, Nano Boost, grants a boost to allies’ movement speed, damage and damage resistance.

PC players can test out Ana on the Public Test Realm today with more information to follow, likely on her public availability and release on consoles. Check out her origins story and gameplay below. Let us know what you think of Ana and her abilities in the comments.
