P.T. Still Downloadable After PS Store Removal

However, only for those who downloaded it previously.

TP Silent Hills PS4

The on-going saga of discord between Konami and Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima continues. As Silent Hills – which Kojima was supposed to be in charge of – has been cancelled, the publisher announced that it would be removing P.T. (the playable teaser for the horror title) from the PlayStation Store.

P.T. is gone from the North American PSN store but for those who already downloaded it, there’s some good news. You can still download the game if you already owned it before, which is handy if you deleted it prior to its removal from PSN. According to the GameSpot, you’ll be able to download it again via the Library section.

So while future generations may not be able to experience what Kojima and crew had in mind with P.T., there’s at least some reconciliation in that it won’t just die out for those who’ve already experienced it.

What are your thoughts on P.T.’s removal? Let us know in the comments below.
